Dr. Sami Yousuf graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he earned his bachelor's degree in engineering science. He received his doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Yousuf furthered his study with an advanced education in general dentistry degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia in 1998.
In 2005, Dr. Yousuf was awarded a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he demonstrated an exceptional interest in the advancement of implant dentistry. In 2006, he completed advanced training in cosmetic and smile makeover dentistry under the supervision of acclaimed cosmetic dentist Dr. Larry Rosenthal.
Dr. Yousuf has been in private practice in Norwich, CT since 1998 and East Lyme, CT since 2000. He is an active member of the New London County Dental Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
In his time away from the practice and study of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, hiking, cooking, and golfing.
Dr. Joseph Palumbo enjoys using his comprehensive range of clinical skills to help patients achieve the bright, beautiful smiles they’ve always wanted. He treats his patients on a personal, caring basis, giving them comfort, satisfaction, and results.
Dr. Palumbo received his undergraduate degree in biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before earning his doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997. He then completed an advanced education residency in general dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn NY.
Dr. Palumbo holds a fellowship in dental implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He also has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers from the Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in New York City.
Dr. Palumbo’s other affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, CEREC® Doctors, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
He resides in Old Saybrook with his wife and four children.
